Imagine if Tangerine Dream weren’t benevolent humans, but were, instead, a group of cold hearted androids, full of anger and sadness as they pummelled their human slaves with increasingly menacing arpeggios from barely working analogue synths. That could easily describe the experimental sonic onslaught from RUBY THROAT and their new minimix, Drowned. Waves of bleeps and rusty melodies from another time threaten to overwhelm the listener in an anxiety-inducing stream of electro consciousness.
